As much as I like Ted Cruz and would like to see him leading the Senate, we can’t have 25 Conservative candidates compeating for the 2016 spot on the Republican ticket dividing our vote and end up with another Bush, a Christy or Romney.
The Democrats successfully diverted us in 2008 by putting the emphasis on a ” birth certificate” when the real Constitutional issue was that Obama is not “Natural Born” ( both his parents were not American citizens)
When Cruz first came on the national scene I saw a Huffington Post article about Ted Cruz not being Natural Born but no one in the media talks about it now (probably saving it for 2016)
I would love to see Ted Cruz, Bobby Jindal and Marco Rubio get together and shine a spotlight on the mistake made with Obama and declare themselves in support of the Constitution and therefore ineligable; thus narrowing the field for Conservatives in 2016.
One might not think the “Natural Born” requirement is important in the 21st Century but looking at Obama’s anti-colonialist father and his mentor; Frank Marshall Davis (The Communist) you realize you are wrong.
There are a lot of potential RNC Candidates out there that are Conservative and I think we need to start narrowing it down as soon a possible.
Many of you attended Steve King’s Conservative Principles Conference March 26th, 2008 where there were still too many Conservative candidates still in the running and we got John McCain who obviously wasn’t there.
Steve King is starting earlier this time; once again in Des Moines (Jan. 24th, 2015) followed by two or three more around the country.
BE NICE IF WE COULD CHOOSE SOMEONE “EARLY ON” WHO HAS NEVER RUN FOR PRESIDENT BEFORE, IS CONSERVATIVE AND “NATURAL BORN” THEN FORCE THAT CANDIDATE ON THE RNC.
The Freedom Summit would be a good place for Cruz, Jindal and Rubio to make their announcement.
I’m going to suggest it to them.
