WHAT HAPPENED TO AMERICA…???
AND WHO IS BEING HARMED THE MOST BY CHANGES IN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN INDIVIDUALS AND OUR GOVERNMENT ???
How did our “Shining City On The Hill” get to where we are today where “Big Government” intrudes into our lives destroying the individual liberties guaranteed by our Constitution?
We are no longer looked upon by our government as individual Americans but as members of distinct groups; divided by race, social standing, income, religion, even sexual preference.
AND GOVERNMENT “UNCONSTITUTIONALLY” SPENDING TAX DOLLARS ON SOCIAL PROGRAMS IN SUPPORT OF VARIOUS CLASSES OF CITIZENS HAS BECOME THE RULE RATHER THAN THE EXCEPTION.
IT’S CALLED THE “PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT” AND IT LEADS AWAY FROM THE CONSTITUTION AND INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY http://hillsdalecollege.com/
Irresponsible spending by our government switched into high gear during George Bush’s Presidency only to be quadrupled in Barrack Obama’s first term as President.
President Obama had full control of the Senate and the House of Representatives during his first two years in office.
And during his first term in office he managed to spend more federal (TAX PAYER) dollars than all previous presidents combined.
AND THIS HAS TO HAVE BEEN………”PURPOSEFUL” (Google…Cloward and Piven)
With a current National Debt of more than $16 Trillion; there is no way to raise taxes or cut spending enough to even pay the debt service on this kind of debt.
AND THIS IS ALL WITHOUT CONSIDERING THE “UNFUNDED MANDATES” OF SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE WICH MULTIPLIES THE PROBLEM BY A FACTOR OF MORE THAN FIVE.
Worst of all; this irresponsible spending is PUNISHING FUTURE GENERATIONS.
HOW DID WE GET TO THIS POINT…???
Let me take a crack at answering this question.
I think we, as American citizens, are always waiting for the next “temporary politician” to come along who is an ANGEL WITH A PLAN that will solve our fiscal problems; and we have had a few.
Remember James Madison said in Federalist 51 that…“if men were angels we would need no government”.
So…if you and I are really part of a “Liberty Loving Silent Majority” in America (and I think we are)…then why over the past 100 years or so, have we elected so few Angels as our temporary politicians.
To answer this question, one only needs to look at how we fund our federal government.
70% of all federal programs in America date back to the 1930s and the New Deal…yet they never go away.
Add to this the EPA and all the other federal regulatory institutions we pay for and the cost is astounding.
All of this is paid for by “progressively taxing success in America”. The more successful you are the more you are punished through income taxes.
THE PROGRESSIVE MONTRA OVER THE LAST 100 YEARS HAS BECOME
“TAX THE RICH”
And this is so easy to sell………Even To An Irresponsible RNC Speaker of the House named ”John Boehner” who has tried to force a “Tax The Rich Policy” on The People’s House in Republican control under pressure from a Progressive White House.
WHAT IS HE THINKING ?
YOU DON’T RAISE TAXES WITH UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS SO HIGH AND OUR ECONOMY IN THE TANK.
WE NEED TO GROW THE ECONOMY AND HISTORICLY THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN WE CUT INCOME TAXES.
REAGAN’S 25% ACROSS THE BOARD CUTS IN 1980, FOR EXAMPLE, LED TO THE GREATEST PERIOD OF ECONOMIC GROWTH IN AMERICAN HISTORY.
The real evil IN TAXING INCOME is in the fact that our “temporary politicians” redistribute these tax dollars from producers to non-producers largely in the form of social programs such as those that make up 70% of our budget.
AND THIS CREATES A VOTING BLOCK THAT RE-ELECTS POLITICIANS.
IT’S A VICIOUS-SELF PERPETUATING CYCLE
WHERE TAX DOLLARS ARE TAKEN FROM THE PRODUCERS IN SOCIETY AND REDISTRIBUTED TO THE NON-PRODUCERS WHO THEN ELECT TEMPORARY POLITICIANS THE PRODUCERS WOULD NEVER HAVE VOTED FOR.
THAT IS IT IN A NUTSHELL
IF WE ARE EVER TO GET OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACK INTO IT’S “CONSTITUTIONAL CAGE” AND SAVE AMERICA; WE WILL NEED TO REPEAL THE 16TH AMENDMENT AND ELIMINATE INCOME TAXES IN AMERICA.
“TAXING INCOME”… BECAME CONSTITUTIONAL IN 1913 WITH THE 16TH AMENDMENT.
AND WITHOUT THE 16TH AMENDMENT; PROGRESSIVE POLITICIANS WOULD HAVE BEEN HARD PRESSED PAYING FOR ALL THEIR “UNCONSTITUTIONAL” PROGRAMS FOR SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS DURING THE PAST 100 YEARS.
THEY COULD NOT HAVE JUST………“TAXED THE RICH”………TO PAY FOR THEM.
REMEMBER “TAX REFORM IS TEMPORARY WITHOUT ELIMINATING THE 16TH AMENDMENT”.
WE NEED TO TAKE AWAY THE ABILITY OF TEMPORARY POLITICIANS TO TAX INCOME.
THEN WE WON’T NEED TO WAIT ON THE NEXT “ANGEL” TO STEP IN AND TEMPORARILY SAVE US.
